Originally from Kentucky, Nancy Jefferson has lived in the Florida Keys since 1978. Her formal education has come from studies at the University of Kentucky Penland School of Crrafts and Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.        Her whimsical one-of-a-kind pieces are created form porcelain or raku clay, and they reflect the plants and animals of her area, where nature abounds.        Nancy's work can be found in many collections, and it includes large murals depicting reefs and the back country of the Keys which have been commissioned for local homes.
